Live to serve to end generational poverty

 

Amrita-Seattle serves vulnerable children in utmost rural isolated parts of India with the objective of empowering them to achieve their full potential and break out of generational poverty. 

From sending a child to school, to providing children with access to tutorials, classroom supplies and libraries, to doctor's check-ups, and home visits, Amrita-Seattle provides children with everything they need, every step of the way to not just survive, but thrive! 

 

In addition to our community development work in rural India, Amrita-Seattle also serves locally in Seattle, WA by providing healthy hot meals to at-risk unsheltered youth and young adults living in Tent City(ies), ROOTS Shelter, and TeenFeed.
